Meet Our Dentist - Dr. Haissam A. Kanaan

Dr. Kanaan received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005 from the University of Detroit Mercy. He then completed his internship and specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010 at Wayne State University-School of Medicine/Detroit Medical Centre. Dr. Kanaan has a special interest in Dental extractions, Anesthesia, Dental Implant surgery, Soft tissue, and bone grafting, Facial Pain management, Facial Trauma & Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Kanaan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada and holds a specialty License in Ontario and Michigan. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Kanaan is a member of various professional organizations including the Canadian and American Associations of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Ontario Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Canadian Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Ontario Dental Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Kanaan and his wife are blessed and lead a busy life keeping up with the various activities of their four children.
